Trillium Creek Winery was licensed in 2006. Owners Claude and Claudia Gahard decided to turn their 28 year hobby into a business when Claude retired from Continental Airlines in 2002. Claude grew up in France and prefers the drier French wines, while Claudia prefers the fruitier wines. So they make both types.

On their 15 acres in Home, Washington, they produce Pinot Noir, Muller Thurgau, Gewurtraminer, and Reisling. For the Cabernets and varietals, they purchase grapes from Eatsern Washington, but all of the processing and bottling is done in their own wine cellar.

Directions to Winery. From Tacoma, Cross the Narrows Bridge. Go through Gig Harbor and exit at Purdy. When you get into Purdy turn left at the light and cross the little bridge. Go 12 miles until you come to the town of Home. Turn right on 2nd Avenue, then left of G. A few hundred feet and you will see the adorable wine tasting room.

Directions from Bremerton: Get on Highway 16 until you come to the Purdy exit.
